Buzzed

This is pretty simple stuff, and if you’re with me you’ve probably been doing this stuff already for a looong time without even necessarily knowing it.  But I’ve just been asked this in an interview one too many times and not known how to explain it, even having done it countless times already in the course of my professional work.  It must be in some kind of developer interview rulebook or something because it’s happened at least 3 times now over the years.
